Students will meet an amphibian up close and learn about their cool adaptations! \nNature Explorers – Amphibians\n\nThursday\, April 9 | 10:15 AM\nAn adult must accompany each child during the program. Paid Zoo admission is required for adults & children\, and a $5 per-child fee will be collected at the beginning of each program. The fee covers the cost of materials and supports our conservation efforts. Program locations will be determined and emailed to guests before their respective dates.\n\nMember Registration \nNon-Member Registration \n____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________\n\nThis program is part of our Nature Explorers Series\, which offers exciting outdoor adventures designed for children ages 3–5. Each 30–45-minute session introduces young learners to a new topic through engaging activities such as up-close animal encounters\, crafts\, storytelling\, and interactive lessons. Class sizes are limited to ensure a personalized experience. \n\n\nAn adult must accompany each child during the program. Paid Zoo admission is required for adults & children\, and a $5 per-child fee will be collected at the beginning of each program. Fly on over to the Zoo to learn how to attract and provide vital habitat for native birds and other wildlife. DESCRIPTION:Tuesday\, May 12 • 6:00pm – 7:30pm\nElmwood Park Zoo – Canopy Gardens Hall \nClimate Watch is an important community science project started by the National Audubon Society to understand how birds are reacting to climate change and to test our climate models. Join us for a training session where you’ll learn how to identify species such as White-breasted Nuthatch\, Eastern Bluebirds\, and Eastern Towhee\, and you will be taught the Climate Watch methodologies you’ll need to know for data collection and reporting your findings. You’ll also be able to choose your Climate Watch location(s) from the map we’ll provide. Carey Wentz\, the John James Audubon Center’s Bird Care Coordinator\, in partnership with education staff at EPZ\, will lead this exciting training session.\nThis event is free to attend\, but registration is required. \nRegistration Available Soon
