Join zoo educators for a do-it-yourself workshop where you will learn all about the amazing benefits of vermicomposting and the step by step instructions on how to set one up at home.

Explore the amazing spring flowers found throughout the zoo and learn about the buzzing beneficial bugs that make these blooms possible. With the help of zoo educators, you’ll get a chance to get your hands dirty and pot your own native plant to take home.

The spotted lanternfly, multi-flora rose, oriental bittersweet…these invasive species are taking over, and we need your help! Zoo educators will identify these intruders and help you learn how they are affecting our native species.
