DESCRIPTION:Calling all Educators! Join us for an evening celebrating those who impact students’ daily lives. Guests can enjoy animal greets and raffles\, as well as discounts on beverages\, attraction tickets\, and gift shop merchandise. This event is FREE to educators. Additional guest tickets are available for $10.00 per person (ages 3+). Children (ages 0-2) are free. NOTE: Educators must present a valid work ID upon entry. Eductors include Current Classroom Teachers and  Teaching Assistants in Preschools\, Elementary Schools\, Middle Schools\, and High Schools. Homeschool teachers must provide valid documentation verifying their status as homeschool educators. DESCRIPTION:World Migratory Bird Day is officially celebrated on the second Saturday of May\, and this year the focus is on the role of public participation in collecting data on migratory bird populations\, their habitats\, and the factors that affect them\, and in contributing to our knowledge of how to protect them. Fly on over to the Zoo to learn how to attract and provide vital habitat for native birds and other wildlife. Each family will take home their own native plant and participate in the Habitat Hero plant tracking program to see how individual efforts impact our local bird flyways!  \n  \nThis program is FREE to attend with paid Zoo admission; registration is required.
