National Hedgehog Day

Join us as we celebrate National Hedgehog Day!
We will be celebrating National Hedgehog Day with hedgehog meet and greets in Trail of the Jaguar. In observance of all things pokey and cute, we will have hedgehog themed games and activities. There will also be an appearance from one of our porcupines! See the full schedule below.

10:00 am to 2:00 pm- Hedgehog games and activities
10:00 am to 10:40 am- Hedgehog meet & greet
11:00 am to 11:40 am- Hedgehog meet & greet
12:00 pm to 12:40 pm- Porcupine meet & greet
1:00 pm to 1:40 pm- Hedgehog meet & greet
Make sure to stop by for this unique opportunity, as they are normally behind the scenes at the zoo. Our hedgehogs are animal ambassadors, which means they are usually only seen in educational programs inside or outside the zoo.
