Eco-Family Workshops: Gardening For The Birds

May 9 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

World Migratory Bird Day is officially celebrated on the second Saturday of May, and this year the focus is on the role of public participation in collecting data on migratory bird populations, their habitats, and the factors that affect them, and in contributing to our knowledge of how to protect them. Fly on over to the Zoo to learn how to attract and provide vital habitat for native birds and other wildlife. Each family will take home their own native plant and participate in the Habitat Hero plant tracking program to see how individual efforts impact our local bird flyways!

This program is FREE to attend with paid Zoo admission; registration is required. Admission can be purchased when you arrive for the program.
