What does it take to be a zookeeper at Elmwood Park Zoo? In this immersive experience, children will learn firsthand, working alongside our animal care staff! Our junior keepers will spend their day shadowing an EPZ professional as they complete their daily tasks that provide essential care to our animals. Junior keepers will be in close proximity to our animals, they’ll prepare diets, they’ll create enrichment, and more!
- Your purchase includes:
- Guided tour of the zoo that includes a special behind-the-scenes look
- Opportunity to help prepare an animal's diet
- One-on-one animal encounter
- Opportunity to create enrichment for an animal on exhibit
