New Zealand rabbits are a domesticated breed that cannot be found in the wild.
Identification
There are 5 color variations of the New Zealand Rabbit: White, Red, Black, Blue, and Broken. Broken is any color mixed with white.
Diet
80% of their diet consists of hay, with the remainder being made up of grain and a small amount of fruits and vegetables.
Reproduction & Lifespan
Domesticated rabbits can live between 5-8 years. They have been known to have about 7 babies per litter.
Fantastic Fact
New Zealand rabbits are very smart and can be trained to come when you call their name, play games, and use a litter box!
