This year, as part of our Community Pet Ofrenda, we invite those who wish to participate to upload a photo of their departed pets for the ofrenda. Follow the instructions on this Google Form to participate:
On October 31 and Nov 1, during regular zoo hours, we invite you to place premade paper offerings on the Elmwood Park Zoo Ofrenda and the Community Pet Ofrenda.
These ofrendas are a heartfelt tribute to cherished family members, including our furry companions, who once roamed our exhibits and your homes. The Elmwood Park Zoo’s IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility) Committee presents this program.
