Ever wondered what happens after the zoo closes? Find out at this exciting overnight campout! Every second Friday of the month, June through October, sleep over at the zoo and experience the wilderness in a whole new way! Perfect for both first-time and seasoned campers, Zoo Snooze is a great opportunity to spend time outdoors in a safe and unique environment. Every Zoo Snooze is a different experience, so sign up for as many as you'd like! Every ZooSnooze comes with dinner and breakfast the following morning, as well as a souvenir collector’s cup that you can take home with you! Friday, June 14 – Father’s Day Campout Bring the whole family to the zoo to celebrate Dad at our annual Father’s Day Campout. Guests will enjoy a cookout style dinner, crafts and activities throughout the evening, and cap everything off with a movie under the stars. Friday, July 12 – Safari Sleepover Join the zoo crew as we take an overnight safari through the zoo. During your overnight stay, you’ll go on a flashlight tour of the zoo and meet some of our wildest friends, including the giant giraffes! You’ll also enjoy a movie under the stars and some other wild activities! Friday, August 9 - CSI:EPZ – Overnight Investigation – The Case of the Stolen Food! Help the zoo team as they investigate a crime at the zoo! Someone, or something, stole food from the Cougar Café and it’s up to you to find out who did it. During this overnight investigation, you and the other detective campers will look at evidence, interview a few of our wild suspects and ultimately help us figure out just who stole the food! Campers will also get to enjoy some sleuth-style crafts, as well as a pizza dinner and a continental breakfast in the morning! Friday, September 13 - Back to School Campout You might be back in school, but there’s no reason the summer fun has to end! Join the zoo crew as we celebrate the end of summer with an overnight campout. Enjoy crafts and other fun activities throughout the evening for an experience that you can tell your friends about when you go back into school on Monday! You’ll also get to meet some of our favorite wild friends and find out how they learn, just like you do at school! Campers will also enjoy a pizza dinner and continental breakfast in the morning! Friday, October 11 – CSI:EPZ – Overnight Investigation - The Hunt for Bigfoot! Could Big Foot be lurking around the zoo after hours? The zoo needs your help to find out! Every morning, the keepers find footprints throughout the zoo! Are they the foot prints of Big Foot or is some other creature the culprit? During this overnight investigation, you and the other detective campers will look at evidence, study footprints and ultimately help us figure out just who has been lurking around the zoo at night! Campers will also get to enjoy some sleuth-style crafts, as well as a pizza dinner and a continental breakfast in the morning! $40 per non-member (ages 3 & up) $25 per member (ages 3 & up) Under 3 are FREE! Add on a Campout Kit (Safari Hat, Flashlight Keychain & Binoculars) for only $10.00! **Price includes admission to sleepover, dinner, activities, s’mores by the campfire, and breakfast the following morning.
