Volunteer Opportunities
Support Elmwood Park Zoo with your gift of time. Each year, dedicated volunteers donate thousands of hours to help with education programs, guest services, and maintenance. We offer a variety of volunteer opportunities for groups and individuals 14 years of age and up, including the Docent and Junior Docent programs, academic internships and group projects. Volunteers are a critical part of the zoo team, helping to provide vibrant educational and interpretive programs that motivate people to learn more about the natural world and take steps to preserve it.
